4 Recipes of Autumn Coffees

When autumn starts and the cold weather kicks in we all love a good warm drink and to get cosy while snuggling up on the sofa watching television on a cold day. Mornings are especially difficult in the cold to wake up and go to work or to be active during the day.


Each recipe should satisfy your cravings of a sweet and tasty coffee some of which you might want to give a go if you haven't done so already.



Here are 4 recipes of autumn coffees rated by several online sources:





Salted Caramel Latte

If you like the sweet flavour of caramel, you will definitely enjoy this coffee.



Ingredients-

· 1 cup brewed coffee

· ½ cup milk

· 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

· Pinch of sea salt

· Whipped cream









Method-

1. Put the milk, caramel sauce and the sea salt in a small saucepan over a medium heat, while stirring to dissolve the sauce. Make sure it is heated well.

2. While the mixture of milk is warming, prepare your brewed coffee and pour into a mug.

3. Once the milk is warmed, removed from the heat and blend using an immersion blender. Blend well until it is frothy.

4. Once it becomes frothy, pour the milk into the mug with the coffee.

5. Add whipped cream and more caramel sauce.

6. Serve and enjoy!!





Pumpkin Spiced Latte


If you like the pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks but cannot be bothered to go to the shop to buy one here is an alternative to make at home.



Ingredients-

· 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

· Pinch of cinnamon

· Pinch of ginger

· Pinch of nutmeg

· 30ml expresso coffee shot

· 250ml or 1 cup of milk

· Pinch of sugar (to taste)

· Whipped cream






Method-

1. Put the pumpkin puree, milk, punch of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg and punch of sugar (to your taste) in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Make sure it is heated well.

2. Once the milk is warmed, removed from the heat and blend using an immersion blender. Blend well until it is frothy.

3. Add the expresso coffee shot to the mix or prepare 1 cup of brewed coffee and add into the mix.

4. Pour into a mug.

5. Add whipped cream and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon.

6. Serve and enjoy!!





Maple Latte


If you like the sweet flavour of maple syrup, you will definitely satisfy your sweet taste with this coffee.



Ingredients-

· 1/3 cup espresso

· ½ cup milk

· 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup

· ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

· Pinch of cinnamon

· Whipped cream








Method-

1. Put the milk, vanilla extract and the cinnamon in a small saucepan over a medium heat, while stirring the sauce. Make sure it is heated well.

2. Once the milk is warmed, removed from the heat and blend using an immersion blender. Blend well until it is frothy.

3. Prepare your brewed coffee and mix in the maple syrup, then pour into a mug.

4. Once the milk becomes frothy, pour the milk into the mug with the coffee.

5. Add whipped cream and more maple syrup.

6. Serve and enjoy!!





Mexican Mocha


If you like the flavour of a hot chocolate but want to have something different with a kick of spice as a coffee, this is the coffee for you.



Ingredients-

· 1 cup brewed coffee

· ½ cup milk

· ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

· 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

· 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

· Pinch of cayenne pepper or a pinch of chili powder (depends on spice level)

· Whipped cream






Method-

1. Mix the cinnamon, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and cayenne pepper or chili powder.

2. Prepare your brewed coffee and pour into a mug.

3. Then pour the powder mix into the coffee and stir well.

4. If you would like to add milk, heat milk in a sauce pan until warm and pour the milk into the mug with the coffee.

5. Add whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon.

6. Serve and enjoy!!
